Program Overview
EMS Supervised Transitional Living Residential Facility is a long-term residential, foster care placement facility, for adolescent males ages 14 to 17. At EMS Supervised Transitional Living Residential Facility a continuum of services and opportunities are available to adolescent males in foster care. The program employs a positive youth development approach, placing value on young men regardless of their situations and emphasizes their strengths and potential rather than their problems and deficits. EMS Supervised Transitional Residential Facility emphasizes services that will contribute to the healthy development of young men, support them in building on their own strengths, and enable them to contribute positively to their communities. Assessments, life skills activities, trainings, support and case management services related to preparation for independent living are provided.
